Minnesota High School Softball - Eastview nudges Lakeville South
May 3, 2022: Apple Valley, MN 55124 The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Eastview Lightning (Apple Valley, MN) and the visiting Lakeville South Cougars (Lakeville, MN), saw Eastview's softball squad nip Lakeville South by a count of 8-7.
The Lightning now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Burnsville for a South Suburban Conference match on Wednesday, May 4. Eastview will face a Blaze squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Hastings (Hastings, MN). The Blaze record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Lakeville South falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Cougars host Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN) to face the Panthers in a South Suburban Conference match on Wednesday, May 4. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 4-4. Lakeville North lost 6-5 in their recent league match against Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN)
