King City Mustangs (King City, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Monte Vista Christian Mustangs (Watsonville, CA), 17-0 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 16-7 record. They take the field next when they host Soledad for a PCAL - Cypress challenge on Thursday, May 5. King City will face a Aztecs squad coming off a 22-1 non-league loss to St. Francis (Watsonville, CA). The Aztecs record now stands at 5-9.

With the loss, Monte Vista Christian falls to 4-19 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Alisal (Salinas, CA) to face the Trojans in a PCAL - Cypress challenge on Thursday, May 5.
