California High School Baseball - Steele Canyon nips Granite Hills
May 3, 2023: Spring Valley, CA 91978 Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Granite Hills Eagles (El Cajon, CA), 9-8 in a league test.
With the win, Steele Canyon upgrades its record to 5-9 on the season. The Cougars travel to Helix (La Mesa, CA) to battle the Highlanders in a test on Friday, May 5. The Highlanders come into the test with a record of 7-4. Helix lost 1-0 in their recent league test against West Hills (Santee, CA)
With the defeat, Granite Hills falls to 5-7 on the season.
