Massachusetts High School Softball - Beverly bounces Saugus
May 3, 2023: Saugus, MA 01906 Beverly Panthers (Beverly, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Saugus Sachems (Saugus, MA), 10-1 in a league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Masconomet Regional for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 5. Beverly will face a Chieftains squad coming off a 8-5 non-league win over Winthrop (Winthrop, MA). The Chieftains record now stands at 7-6.
With the loss, Saugus falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Sachems host Marblehead (Marblehead, MA) to face the Magicians in a Northeast challenge on Friday, May 5. The Magicians enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Marblehead lost 10-9 in their recent league challenge against Salem (Salem, MA)
