Massachusetts High School Softball - Monomoy bounces Nauset Regional
May 3, 2023: Harwich, MA 02645 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Monomoy Sharks (Harwich, MA) and the visiting Nauset Regional Warriors (North Eastham, MA), saw Monomoy's softball squad achieve victory over Nauset Regional by a count of 14-4.
The Sharks now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Barnstable for a non-league match on Friday, May 5. Monomoy will face a Red Hawks squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Dennis-Yarmouth Regional (South Yarmouth, MA). The Red Hawks record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Nauset Regional falls to 9-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Sandwich (East Sandwich, MA) to face the Blue Knights in a Atlantic Coast - Pilgrim match on Friday, May 5. The Blue Knights enter the match with a record of 4-3.
