Valley Christian Warriors (San Jose, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats (San Francisco, CA), 6-2 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 13-7 record. They take the field next when they host Presentation for a West Catholic challenge on Friday, May 5. Valley Christian will face a Panthers squad coming off a 19-1 league loss to Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-12.

With the loss, St. Ignatius College Preparatory falls to 9-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA) to face the Fightin' Irish in a West Catholic challenge on Friday, May 5. The Fightin' Irish enter the challenge with a record of 11-8. Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory lost 13-1 in their recent league challenge against Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA)
