Maine High School Softball - Madison loses to Spruce Mountain
May 3, 2024: Madison, ME 04950 The Spruce Mountain Phoenix softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Madison Bulldogs to 0 in the Phoenix league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Spruce Mountain improves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Phoenix host Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 8. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 4-2.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Lisbon Greyhounds (Lisbon Falls, ME) in a Class C South game, on Monday, May 6. Madison will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Greyhounds come into the game with a 5-4 record after their 15-1 league loss to Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME).
