May 3, 2024: Williamson, NY 14589 North Rose-Wolcott Cougars (Wolcott, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Williamson Marauders (Williamson, NY), 5-2 in a league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Sodus for a Wayne County game on Monday, May 6. North Rose-Wolcott will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 17-6 league win over Clyde-Savannah (Clyde, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 4-11.
In their next game, the Marauders clash with the East Rochester Bombers (East Rochester, NY) in a Wayne County game, on Saturday, May 4. Williamson will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record.
