The Rising Sun Shiners routed the visiting Switzerland County Pacers softball squad by a final score of 13-2 in Friday's league battle.

The Shiners (14-1) will now prepare for their battle against North Decatur (Greensburg, IN). The Chargers go into the non-league battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, North Decatur notched a victory over Waldron (Waldron, IN), 20-3, in a league battle.

The Pacers now possess a 0-15 record. They play next when they host South Ripley for a Ohio River Valley battle on Saturday, May 4. Switzerland County will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 10-4 non-league win over New Washington (New Washington, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 4-9.
