May 3, 2025: Wyoming, MI 49548 The Kent City Eagles baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Kelloggsville Rockets to 0 in the Eagles non-league win on Saturday.
The Eagles now own a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to White Cloud for a Central State test on Monday, May 5. Kent City will clash with a Indians team coming off a 9-3 league loss to Newaygo (Newaygo, MI). The Indians record now stands at 5-13.
With the defeat, Kelloggsville drops to 0-14 on the year. The Rockets host Belding (Belding, MI) to clash with the Black Knights in a Ottawa-Kent - Silver test on Tuesday, May 6. The Black Knights go into the test with a record of 1-7. Belding lost 15-5 in their recent league test against Hopkins (Hopkins, MI)
