The Kingston Cardinals baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Mayville Wildcats to 3 in the Cardinals non-league win on Saturday.

The Cardinals now own a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Caseville for a North Central Thumb- Stripes test on Monday, May 5. Kingston will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 6-5 league loss to Akron-Fairgrove (Fairgrove, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 0-5.

With the defeat, Mayville drops to 4-7 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Dryden (Dryden, MI) to clash with the Cardinals in a North Central Thumb- Stars test on Monday, May 5.
