The Lincoln Northeast Rockets (Lincoln, NE) baseball got by the visiting Standing Bear Grizzlies (Lincoln, NE), 7-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Rockets now own a 13-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln Southwest for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 5. Lincoln Northeast will clash with a Silver Hawks team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Grand Island (Grand Island, NE). The Silver Hawks record now stands at 14-11.

With the defeat, Standing Bear drops to 7-16 on the year. The Grizzlies host North Platte (North Platte, NE) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 3.
