May 3, 2025: Oakhurst, NJ 07755 The Donovan Catholic Griffins lacrosse team (Toms River, NJ), was overwhelmed 20-6 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Ocean Township Spartans (Oakhurst, NJ)
With the victory, Ocean Township advances its record to 4-8 on the season. The Spartans host Wall Township (Wall, NJ) to encounter the Crimson Knights in a Shore - Colonial battle on Monday, May 5. The Crimson Knights come into the battle with a record of 3-10. Wall Township lost 13-1 in their recent non-league battle against Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ)
The Griffins now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manchester Township for a Shore - Independence battle on Wednesday, May 7. Donovan Catholic will encounter a Hawks team coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to New Egypt (New Egypt, NJ). The Hawks record now stands at 6-4.
