In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting La Salle College Explorers baseball team scored a close 5-3 win over the Malvern Prep Friars.

The Explorers (16-1) will now prepare for their game against St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia, PA). The Hawks go into the game with a 11-3 record. In their last game, St. Joseph's Prep Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square, PA), 5-5, in a non-league game.
