The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the South Bend Saint Joseph Huskies (South Bend, IN) and the visiting Portage Indians (Portage, IN), observed South Bend Saint Joseph's softball team get by Portage by a tally of 9-4.

The Huskies (6-6) will now prepare for their bout against South Bend Riley (South Bend, IN). The Wildcats go into the Northern Indiana bout with a 7-8 record. In their last bout, South Bend Riley was routed by New Prairie (New Carlisle, IN), 5-3, in a league bout.
