Connecticut High School Softball - Waterford bounces Fitch
May 30, 2023: Groton, CT 06340 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Waterford Lancers (Waterford, CT) and the host Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT), saw Waterford's softball squad nip Fitch by a count of 4-0.
The Lancers now sport a 13-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Masuk for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 31. Waterford will face a Panthers squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over New Milford (New Milford, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 18-3.
With the loss, Fitch drops to 10-8 on the year.
