Maine High School Softball - Messalonskee Hampden
May 30, 2023: Oakland, ME 04963 Messalonskee Eagles (Oakland, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Hampden Broncos (Hampden, ME), 3-0 in a league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Blue for a Class A North challenge on Wednesday, May 31. Messalonskee will face a Cougars squad coming off a 9-8 league loss to Bangor (Bangor, ME). The Cougars record now stands at 1-14.
With the loss, Hampden falls to 9-6 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Camden Hills (Rockport, ME) to face the Windjammers in a Class A North challenge on Wednesday, May 31. The Windjammers enter the challenge with a record of 4-11. Camden Hills lost 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME)
