Iowa High School Baseball - Algona wallops Iowa Falls-Alden
May 30, 2025: Algona, IA 50511 The Algona Bulldogs baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets to 0 in the Bulldogs league win on Friday.
The Bulldogs now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Clear Lake for a North Central test on Monday, June 2. Algona will clash with a Lions team coming off a 2-1 league win over Humboldt (Humboldt, IA). The Lions record now stands at 3-2.
With the defeat, Iowa Falls-Alden drops to 3-3 on the year. The Cadets host Webster City (Webster City, IA) to clash with the Lynx in a North Central test on Monday, June 2. The Lynx go into the test with a record of 5-5. Webster City lost 14-0 in their recent non-league test against Urbandale (Urbandale, IA)
