Iowa High School Softball - Unity Christian bounces Central Lyon
May 30, 2025: Orange City, IA 51041 The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Unity Christian Knights (Orange City, IA) and the visiting Central Lyon Lions (Rock Rapids, IA), observed Unity Christian's softball team prevail over Central Lyon by a tally of 10-0.
The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against West Lyon (Inwood, IA). The Wildcats go into the Siouxland bout with a 6-0 record. In their last bout, West Lyon knocked off Newell-Fonda (Newell, IA), 10-5, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union Royals (Marcus, IA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, June 2. Central Lyon will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Royals go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 5-0 league win over South O'Brien (Paullina, IA).
