Erskine Academy Eagles (South China, ME) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Medomak Valley Panthers (Waldoboro, ME), 5-4 in a league game.

With the triumph, Erskine Academy upgrades its record to 7-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Leavitt (Turner, ME) to play the Hornets in a Class B South game on Monday, June 2. The Hornets enter the game with a record of 12-3. Leavitt lost 9-5 in their recent league game against Gardiner (Gardiner, ME)

The Panthers now own a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to Oceanside for a non-league game on Monday, June 2. Medomak Valley will play a Mariners squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to Cony (Augusta, ME). The Mariners record now stands at 1-13.
