The Penquis Valley Patriots (Milo, ME) softball routed the host Piscataquis Pirates (Guilford, ME), 21-10 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Patriots now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Schenck for a non-league outing on Wednesday, June 4. Penquis Valley will encounter a Wolverines team coming off a 14-3 non-league win over Greenville (Greenville, ME). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Piscataquis moves to 2-9 on the season. The Pirates travel to Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME) to encounter the Howlers in a Class D North outing on Monday, June 2.
