Iowa High School Softball - Springville bounces Turkey Valley
May 30, 2025: Springville, IA 52336 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Springville Orioles (Springville, IA) and the visiting Turkey Valley Trojans (Jackson Junction, IA), observed Springville's softball team prevail over Turkey Valley by a tally of 11-3.
The Orioles (5-3) will now prepare for their bout against Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA). The Plainsmen go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Belle Plaine was routed by B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA), 21-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Riceville Wildcats (Riceville, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, June 3. Turkey Valley will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 9-0 league loss to Clarksville (Clarksville, IA).
