In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the Our Lady of the Lakes Lakers (Waterford, MI) baseball squad triumphed over the host New Lothrop Hornets (New Lothrop, MI), by a final score of 18-8.

With the win, Our Lady of the Lakes upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season.

With the defeat, New Lothrop falls to 14-17 on the season. The Hornets travel to Bentley (Burton, MI) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 3. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 19-10. Bentley lost 9-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Byron (Byron, MI)
