Connecticut High School Softball - Cheshire bounces Newtown
May 31, 2024: Cheshire, CT 06410 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Cheshire Rams (Cheshire, CT) and the visiting Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT), witnessed Cheshire's softball squad tip Newtown by a count of 5-0.
The Rams now sport a 19-1 record. They play next when they travel to Southington for a non-league match on Monday, June 3. Cheshire will meet a Blue Knights squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Darien (Darien, CT). The Blue Knights record now stands at 22-3.
With the loss, Newtown moves to 16-8 on the season.
