Illinois High School Softball - Marist gets by Downers Grove North
May 31, 2024: Downers Grove, IL 60515 The Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL) softball nipped the host Downers Grove North Trojans (Downers Grove, IL), 1-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The RedHawks (34-3) will now prepare for their bout against Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL). The Knights go into the non-league bout with a 33-4 record. In their last bout, Lincoln-Way Central held off Lockport (Lockport, IL), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 21-9 record.
