The Western Panthers baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Northwestern Tigers to 9 in the Panthers non-league win on Saturday.

The Panthers now own a 25-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Peru for a non-league test on Monday, June 2. Western will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 8-6 non-league win over Logansport (Logansport, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 15-10.

With the defeat, Northwestern drops to 20-8 on the year.
