Michigan High School Baseball - University Liggett wallops Pershing
May 31, 2025: Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236 The University Liggett Knights baseball team scored 20 runs and held the visiting Pershing Doughboys to 0 in the Knights non-league win on Saturday.
The Knights now hold a 19-12 record. They take the field next when they host Edison Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, May 31. University Liggett will play a Pioneers team coming off a 2-2 non-league Novi (Novi, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 27-12.
With the defeat, Pershing drops to 6-13 on the year.
