May 31, 2025: Springville, IA 52336 The Springville Orioles edged the visiting West Marshall Trojans softball squad by a count of 8-7 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Orioles meet the Central City Wildcats (Central City, IA) in a Tri-Rivers - West challenge, on Monday, June 2. Springville will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 10-1 non-league win over Central (Elkader, IA).
The Trojans (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against South Hamilton (Jewell, IA). The Hawks enter the Heart of Iowa challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, South Hamilton was nudged by Roland-Story (Story City, IA), 10-1, in a league challenge.
