Iowa High School Softball - West Marshall bounces Belle Plaine
May 31, 2025: Belle Plaine, IA 52208 The West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA) softball routed the host Belle Plaine Plainsmen (Belle Plaine, IA), 14-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Trojans now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Hamilton for a Heart of Iowa outing on Monday, June 2. West Marshall will encounter a Hawks team coming off a 10-1 league loss to Roland-Story (Story City, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Belle Plaine moves to 0-5 on the season. The Plainsmen host English Valleys (North English, IA) to encounter the Bears in a South Iowa Cedar outing on Monday, June 2. The Bears come into the outing with a record of 0-2. English Valleys lost 11-7 in their recent league outing against Iowa Valley (Marengo, IA)
