June 7, 2025: Belle Plaine, IA 52208 The Grand View Christian Thunder (Des Moines, IA) softball routed the host Belle Plaine Plainsmen (Belle Plaine, IA), 12-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Thunder now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perry for a non-league outing on Monday, June 9. Grand View Christian will encounter a Bluejays team coming off a 0-0 non-league Woodward-Granger (Woodward, IA). The Bluejays record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Belle Plaine moves to 0-11 on the season. The Plainsmen travel to Colfax-Mingo (Colfax, IA) to encounter the Tigerhawks in a South Iowa Cedar outing on Monday, June 9. The Tigerhawks come into the outing with a record of 0-7. Colfax-Mingo lost 4-2 in their recent non-league outing against Madrid (Madrid, IA)
