The Lakota West Firebirds lacrosse squad (West Chester, OH), was overwhelmed 17-4 in Wednesday's league challenge with the visiting Mason Comets (Mason, OH)

Coming up next, the Comets meet the Fairfield Indians (Fairfield, OH) in a Region 4 challenge, on Thursday, May 5. Mason will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Northmont (Clayton, OH).

The Firebirds now have a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oak Hills for a Region 4 test on Friday, May 6. Lakota West will face a Highlanders squad coming off a 11-9 league win over Little Miami (Morrow, OH). The Highlanders record now stands at 5-10.
