The Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) softball routed the host Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL), 16-2 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Vikings (10-7) will now prepare for their bout against Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL). The Trojans go into the non-league bout with a 20-7 record.
