In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Monroe Central Golden Bears softball team scored a close 6-2 win over the Southern Wells Raiders.

Coming up next, the Golden Bears battle the Winchester Community Golden Falcons (Winchester, IN) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, May 7. Monroe Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Golden Falcons enter the outing with a 3-8 record after their 10-4 league loss to Northeastern (Fountain City, IN).
