California High School Softball - Irvine bounces Calvary Chapel
May 4, 2023: Santa Ana, CA 92704 Irvine Vaqueros (Irvine, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Calvary Chapel Eagles (Santa Ana, CA), 17-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Vaqueros now own a 18-10 record. They take the field next when they host Paramount for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 9. Irvine will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Hawthorne (Hawthorne, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 12-10.
With the loss, Calvary Chapel falls to 11-12 on the campaign.
