May 4, 2024: Dearborn, MI 48124 Kettering Captains (Waterford, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Dearborn Pioneers (Dearborn, MI), 7-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, Kettering upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Captains host South Lyon (South Lyon, MI) to battle the Lions in a Lakes Valley test on Tuesday, May 7. The Lions come into the test with a record of 19-4. South Lyon won 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Clarkston (Clarkston, MI)
With the defeat, Dearborn falls to 9-10 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Churchill (Livonia, MI) to battle the Chargers in a Kensington Lakes - East test on Monday, May 6.
