The Valparaiso Vikings crushed the visiting Lowell Red Devils baseball team by a tally of 13-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Vikings now hold a 14-2 record. They take the field next when they host Michigan City for a Duneland bout on Tuesday, May 7. Valparaiso will face a Wolves team coming off a 13-2 non-league win over East Chicago Central (East Chicago, IN). The Wolves record now stands at 1-14.

Next, the Red Devils face the Kankakee Valley Kougars (Wheatfield, IN) in a Northwest Crossroads bout, on Monday, May 6. Lowell will attempt to advance on its 5-11 season record. The Kougars enter the bout with a 4-10 record after their 7-6 non-league win over Rensselaer Central (Rensselaer, IN).
