Alabama High School Baseball - Oxford nips Mountain Brook
May 4, 2024: Birmingham, AL 35223 Oxford Yellow Jackets (Oxford, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Mountain Brook Spartans (Birmingham, AL), 5-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Oxford upgrades its record to 32-10 on the season. The Yellow Jackets travel to Hartselle (Hartselle, AL) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, May 10. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 32-8. Hartselle won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Athens (Athens, AL)
With the defeat, Mountain Brook falls to 35-9 on the season.
