Illinois High School Softball - Belleville West Triad
May 4, 2024: Belleville, IL 62223 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Triad Knights (Troy, IL) softball team overwhelmed the host Belleville West Maroons (Belleville, IL), by a margin of 10-5.
With the triumph, Triad moves its record to 15-11 on the year. The Knights host Civic Memorial (Bethalto, IL) to play the Eagles in a Mississippi Valley contest on Thursday, May 9. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 9-15. Civic Memorial lost 5-0 in their recent non-league contest against Staunton (Staunton, IL)
In their next game, the Maroons play the Alton Redbirds (Alton, IL) in a Southwestern contest, on Tuesday, May 7. Belleville West will attempt to move on its 9-20 season record. The Redbirds come into the contest with a 8-10 record after their 10-0 league loss to Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL).
