Vermont High School Softball - Mt. Abraham bounces Rutland
May 4, 2024: Bristol, VT 05443 Mt. Abraham Eagles (Bristol, VT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Rutland Raiders (Rutland, VT), 12-7 in a league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Rutland for a SVL A challenge on Saturday, May 4. Mt. Abraham will battle a Raiders squad coming off a 20-2 league loss to Mount Anthony (Bennington, VT). The Raiders record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Rutland falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Mt. Abraham (Bristol, VT) to battle the Eagles in a Metro challenge on Saturday, May 4. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 4-1. Mt. Abraham won 7-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Otter Valley (Brandon, VT)
