The Fairfield Falcons baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host LaVille Lancers to 2 in the Falcons non-league win on Monday.

The Falcons now own a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they host Eastside for a Northeast Corner test on Tuesday, May 5. Fairfield will play a Blazers team coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Edgerton (Edgerton, OH). The Blazers record now stands at 3-10.

With the defeat, LaVille drops to 3-12 on the year. The Lancers host Knox (Knox, IN) to play the Redskins in a Indiana Northern State test on Thursday, May 7. The Redskins go into the test with a record of 5-8. Knox lost 4-3 in their recent league test against Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN)
