May 4, 2026: Hamlin, WV 25523 The Lincoln County Panthers baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Nitro Wildcats to 3 in the Panthers non-league win on Monday.
The Panthers now hold a 15-9 record. They take the field next when they host Spring Valley for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 5. Lincoln County will play a Timberwolves team coming off a 17-10 non-league win over Charleston Catholic (Charleston, WV). The Timberwolves record now stands at 17-8.
With the defeat, Nitro drops to 11-10 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV) to play the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 5. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 6-16. Chapmanville Regional lost 5-1 in their recent non-league test against St. Albans (St. Albans, WV)
