In Monday's league match, the host Cornwall Central Dragons softball team scored a nice 13-1 win over the Monticello Panthers.

The Dragons (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Chester (Chester, NY). The Hambletonians come into the non-league match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Chester was routed by Eldred (Eldred, NY), 5-3, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY) in a Orange County Division II match, on Wednesday, May 13. Monticello will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record.
