Massachusetts High School Baseball - Salem loses to Gloucester
May 5, 2022: Gloucester, MA 01930 The Gloucester Fishermen baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Salem Witches to 1 in the Fishermen non-league victory on Thursday.
The Fishermen (7-4) will now prepare for their match against Masconomet Regional (Boxford, MA). The Chieftains go into the Northeastern - North match with a 5-8 record. In their last match, Masconomet Regional was overwhelmed by Peabody Veterans Memorial (Peabody, MA), 11-5, in a non-league match.
The Witches (0-10) will now prepare for their match against Swampscott (Swampscott, MA). The Big Blue go into the Northeastern - South match with a 6-5 record. In their last match, Swampscott was overwhelmed by Danvers (Danvers, MA), 5-4, in a non-league match.
