In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV), by a final score of 12-2.

With the win, Nicholas County upgrades its record to 12-11 on the season. The Grizzlies host Clay County (Clay, WV) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 6.
