Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Central Bucks South loses to Central Bucks West
May 5, 2022: Doylestown, PA 18901 The Central Bucks West Bucks baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Central Bucks South Titans to 2 in the Bucks non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bucks (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Neshaminy (Langhorne, PA). The Redskins go into the non-league match with a 0-4 record.
The Titans (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Central Bucks East (Doylestown, PA). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Central Bucks East was overwhelmed by Quakertown (Quakertown, PA), 6-3, in a non-league match.
Game Summary
The Central Bucks South Freshman Titans again enjoyed solid pitching by Danny Gies and CJ Rivel who scattered 7 hits over six innings while yielding only two earned runs. Matt Harmon led the Titan's offense having two hits while knocking in two Titan runners. This contest was a competitive contest throughout, however errors in the final inning would prove to be the Titans undoing.
