Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Abington loses to Central Bucks South
April 27, 2022: Warrington, PA 18976 The Central Bucks South Titans baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Abington Galloping Ghosts to 0 in the Titans non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Titans (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Pennsbury (Fairless Hills, PA). The Falcons go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Pennsbury was overwhelmed by Quakertown (Quakertown, PA), 5-1, in a non-league match.
The Galloping Ghosts (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Neshaminy (Langhorne, PA). The Redskins go into the non-league match with a 0-2 record.
Game Summary
An offensive onslaught and a combined one hitter allowed the Freshman Titans to cruise to a 10-0 victory in their home opener. Multiple hit and RBI performances by Matt Harmon and Nick Zakrzewski led the Titan offense. Seven other Titans contributed hits including Dallon Smith, Luke Poley, Arav Puthraya, Austin White, Landon Hinds, C.J. Rivel, and Alex Schuart. Arav Puthraya started on the hill, allowed no hits while striking out five. C.J. Rivel and Tyler Moore provided relief allowing no runs while striking out a combined four Abington hitters. Abhi Chintapalli walked it off with an RBI to close out the scoring.
