May 23, 2022: Warrington, PA 18976 The Central Bucks South Titans crushed the visiting Hatboro-Horsham Hatters baseball team by a count of 10-2 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Titans now possess a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pennsbury for a bout on Wednesday, May 25.
Next, the Hatters face the Quakertown Panthers (Quakertown, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 24. Hatboro-Horsham will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record.
Game Summary
The Freshman Titans have relied on their pitching all season and this game was no exception. The trio of CJ Rivel, Tyler Moore, and Landen Hinds allowed only two runs over 7 innings while scattering 4 hits and striking out 7. Nick Zakrzewski had a big day at the plate going 2 for 3 with 3 RBI and a stolen base. CJ Rivel and Alex Schuart laid down bunts for base hits. Five other Titans added hits which added to the offensive effort.
