Copley Indians (Copley, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Barberton Magics (Barberton, OH), 10-9 in a league challenge.

The Indians now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they host Norton for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 10. Copley will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 10-9 league loss to Field (Mogadore, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 14-6.

With the loss, Barberton falls to 5-15 on the campaign. The Magics travel to Aurora (Aurora, OH) to battle the Greenmen in a Suburban - American challenge on Tuesday, May 10. The Greenmen enter the challenge with a record of 12-7. Aurora won 5-1 in their recent league challenge against Revere (Richfield, OH)
