New York High School Softball - Bayport-Blue Point bounces Shoreham-Wading River
May 5, 2022: Shoreham, NY 11786 The Bayport-Blue Point Phantoms routed the host Shoreham-Wading River Wildcats softball squad by a final score of 14-2 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Phantoms (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against John Glenn (Elwood, NY). The Knights go into the non-league battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, John Glenn topped Amityville Memorial (Amityville, NY), 13-0, in a non-league battle.
The Wildcats now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Miller Place for a Section 11 A-6 battle on Tuesday, May 10. Shoreham-Wading River will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 12-0 league win over Amityville Memorial (Amityville, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 13-3.
