Hersey Huskies (Arlington Heights, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL), 13-3 in a league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 14-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Prospect for a Mid-Suburban East challenge on Friday, May 6. Hersey will battle a Knights squad coming off a 12-1 league loss to Barrington (Barrington, IL). The Knights record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Rolling Meadows falls to 6-13 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Wheeling (Wheeling, IL) to battle the Wildcats in a Mid-Suburban East challenge on Friday, May 6.
